There is no good beer spots anywhere near that place. And whatever you do, don’t go to Kuhnhenn. 5/3/2008 1:07:36 PM

Stay far, far, far away from Bells as well. Absolutely horseshit beer. 5/3/2008 1:15:15 PM

Since Bell’s is about 2 and 1/2 hours away from Detroit I wouldn’t suggest going there unless you want to take a nice long ride. Kuhnhenn, Dragonmead, Detroit beer Co., Atwater Brewing, and Sherwood Brewing are all good brewpubs in the Metro-Detroit area. Depending on where you’re staying it will bare on where you will go.

Decent Bottle Shops- Champanes, Finesse Liquor, Red Wagon Shoppe, Merchants, Value Center market, and Embassy Wine and Liquor.

Places to Eat- Slow’s B-B-Q and you have to hit up either American or Lafayette Coney Island for a coney dog.

Cheers!
