but yeah ive tried 1 top50 in each style, but there were about 3 that it was only 1 from the beers.


some of the sakes were touchy as there were only 4 in the top 50 :-)

but i still managed at least 1

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

I was a ruthless and notorious Top 50 chaser for years. Relentless. I’d stop at nothing to tick them all.

Then I did. All 50. I thought I’d feel a massive sense of accomplishment. I didn’t.

So happy to have that phase out of my system.

In the meantime...

ISO: Fat Heads Headhunter IPA.

Not anymore. Burned out on trading. Barely even go to special release parties anymore.

These days, just trying new stuff that’s fresh or available on the shelves is satisfying enough. Mix in an old favorite here and there and life is sweet.

Oddly, this doesn’t work out to be quite as big a cost savings as ya might hope.

i did. :-)

but actually what i felt more was just how generous many ratebeerians had been to me, as i hadnt had to sell either of my children in order to acomplish it.

I just looked.

I’m at 35, with 2 more on the way, and 2 really startlingly easy ones left to go.

I still really don’t care. Like I said, I have my own list.
