I used to see ISO’s for this beer, is it still a highly sought after beer or has it fallen behind in the times to all of the barrel aged/sours out there. Are people still in the hunt and what is its trade value? |
I just giggled at DFH for naming a beer Golden Shower. |
I assume that any trade value it had/has is purely for the name. Now its just a 5 year old pilsener. |
I know 1 or 2 people on here that trade for DFH rarities, but probably just collectors/big fans of the brewery. You’ll find the rest of ratebeer to not care about DFH anymore and their gimmicky special releases and subpar core series. |

Originally posted by GT2 I’d say the original 750s (120, Olde School, D’Extra) and first few years of WWS are still pretty collectible. Partly because of their rarity, but mostly because they’re still awesome tasting. |
I had a 2006 D’Extra a month ago and it reminded me of musky grapes mostly, I wasn’t a huge fan but I savored it. |
I had an original d’extra a few years ago, and it sucked |
Originally posted by keanex He’s pretty much spot on. American Beauty, etc. it’s just a shame that Blumpkin was already taken. |
Yeah well the rest of Rateber gives most of DFH’s stuff good reviews, so really it’s just the jaded vocal minority, so he’s not spot on. |
