I was just talking to my friend about getting a dog when I move and she asked when I would name it and the name Simcoe came to mind. Anyone else name their dog a beer related name?

My neighbor in college had a chocolate lab named Guinness.

The guy who owns the bar/restaurant by work named his son Porter.

My first dogs name was Fluffy. Now that I am older I realize that my father must have been into beer and named her after one of the descriptors of beer head appearance.

I called my dog Zeus. He was born in í04 which is the year Greece won the Euro and hosted the Olympics. It is, however, also a hop variety ;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_hop_varieties#Zeus
