Mouth on the tap, or slightly away from the tap?

I have no idea why but it does seem like HT tastes better from the can. Doesnít make much sense.

It makes plenty of sense. It is 100% marketing. The power of suggestion is an unbelievably powerful thing.

Has anyone ever asked the brewery for an explanation?

It was 100% marketing the first time I drank it but Iíve had it both ways several times now. The marketing is no longer influencing me.

So pouring it into the glass smells nice, but they want to protect the hop aromas theyíve tried so hard to create? WHAT THE FUCK? Yeah, because I am sure those aromas penetrate aluminum very nicely.

I like drinking cold cheap beer from a can, and good beer from a glass. Sounds like people like HT from a can (never had it myself), but I think they should embrace their cornflake-sized floaties and encourage drinking it from a glass- it could be the next trend that they are taking advantage of! And then I wonít have to feel awkward when my homebrew has that and I am serving to friends- I can be a hipster instead of a grody homebrewer!

For reviewing, I served it a glass. The other 3, I drank from the can...talking abot Heady Topper.

Also, Iíll drink from cans but never bottles.
