Another benefit of Toft Vin is that the two public toilets nearby are open 24/7 while the public toilet at Kihoskh only opens at 9AM:

If you do decide to go to Toft Vin then please promise me you won’t try to relieve yourself in the water. It’s a dangerous thing to do when intoxicated.

Good idea - it’s handy to have public toilets around. I work in the North Sea and being aware of the implications of pollution by sewage I tend to carry out my nature business in an appropriate facility :D

Out of curiosity - do you know the cost of shipping a parcel of,say, 6-7kg to the UK from Denmark?

Generally it’s so expensive that it’s almost cheaper to buy an airplane seat for the parcel with Ryanair - if only liquid were allowed into the cabin..

Parcels between 5 and 10 kilos can be sent for the modest price of 445 DKK = 44 GBP.

Up to 5 kilo it’s 295 DKK = 29 GBP.

Parcels can be sent from the post office at central station, which opens at 9AM.

That’s quite costly, I was thinking they’d be closer to Mikkeller webstore shipping prices. Guess it’s beer for breakfast and that’s it tomorrow.

I hope you managed to get a decent short stay in Copenhagen and that you made it home in one piece.

I’m a bit curious as to what you ended up choosing and whether it lived up to your expectations? The weather was quite good yesterday so I imagining being outside might have been a relatively cheerful experience?

Unfortunately I got very little sleep the night before so I decided it’d be best just to stay in the lounge, I was too tired to travel.

However, I did try a Sky High Witbier on the flight which was pretty good.
