Wow that’s great, question do you have a cylinder or rectangle? Ours is rectangle and it doesn’t extend the full length of the bottom in it, it was designed for a cylinder tun but we only had a rectangle. I’m thinking we might need a longer hose.
It’s small but it would probably work just fine. Bringing it up to 10 kgs of grain is pushing it in my opinion, that would be a pretty thick mash. However, 1x 50 quart cooler, 6 ft of 1/2" copper pipe, 3 copper "T"s, 4 copper elbows and a 2 inch long brass faucet with copper nipple cost me approx 60$ CAD.

That may be true but my DIY skills are less than zero. I don’t even allow myself to own a single power tool. I just don’t trust myself with an electric drill.

I believe that my mesh screen is off of a dishwasher hose. I think you can buy them for about $15. Then you just have to work it off after cutting the ends off.
For that price, I’d go with the one I suggested for the extra volume. And, of course, so you can be more like me.
Though you’d still need a SST ball valve and Bazooka. Don’t like the looks of that plastic tap, nor not knowing what they’re using for a "wort separator". Quality has its price.
