I’m tending to agree with Clark.
The only thing to stop, at least this one person, is outing them.

Right, but no solid alibi from the release party seals the deal.

I doubt they were actually at the release party, or if they were, they probably got there too late and everything was sold out. If they had actually bought the real beers, they would’ve been able to make better fakes. Hell, you could just number the fakes the same as the ones you have. Then you drink the originals, but don’t mention the bottle number in your rating and the person you send the fakes to won’t be able to say "person X has the same numbered bottle as me."

Wow, there are some shadey people out there. I wouldn’t even think about doing this, not in a million years and I am surprised somebody even went through the trouble of doing this. This person needs to be called out for any future trades that may take place.
Thankfully I got my BA Wee Heavy from my most reliable trader! Andrew, I hope someone(s) are planning on making this right for you.

Got me a BA ON coming. I’m pretty sure it’s real as the trader is reliable and active.

No way those bottles were distributed at the Alesmith release. You’re being duped.

I think he needs to be outed and it’s up to him if he wants to explain himself. I wouldn’t be quick to forgive either, as that would just seem to encourage him and/or others to do a better job of not getting caught next time.

I know there are only a small percentage of assholes willing to do this, but it does piss me off that people like this exist. Ripping someone of for fricking beer! Amazing!

What possible excuse does he have? He didnt get it at AleSmith. He already says he didnt get it in trade....
I’m just saying some explanation by the person is called for.
