Hi, |
You can do it too. Click Edit and then click the Closed check box and then save. |

Yeah. I closed out Mikkeller Tokyo a couple days ago, I though I was an admin for a second. lol |
This one is also closed: but I am not allowed to edit it. |
I have also discovered this place has gone, but a new Sports Bar has been re-born at the same address. |
Originally posted by BlackHaddock Yeah. that’s the one caveat I should have put on my last post, that if there is an affiliated user then a non-admin can not edit it. I definitely appreciate you finding these but why are you looking at all the crappy places? When you come to California you don’t go to the big name breweries but instead end up at the local Vons or Ralphs (or pizza place in Palm Desert as the case may be). You need a tour guide |
Originally posted by t0rin0 My trips to SoCal are really for non-beer related reasons (son-in-law, daughter and now grand-daughter live there). We try to visit places that are interesting and different, which is why I end up in weird places with very little beer. My next holiday will hopefully include The Joshua Tree National Park, Rim of the World highway, Big Bear Lake and Yosemite Park: I have been checking out places listed on here to help me through the nights after yomping all day in the various wildernesses. San Diego is also on the radar for this years trip as I missed ’the big places’ last time. Thanks for sorting out the anomalies I found: I promise to stop finding them! <*))))))>< |
Don’t stop finding them, just stop visiting them and spend your time elsewhere. Pizza Port San Clemente isn’t that far from Laguna (I think that’s where you said she lives). |
Originally posted by t0rin0 Yeah, like San Clemente; she lives in Laguna Niguel. Looking at the Salton Sea with a night or two in Julian before dropping down into Escondido and visiting Stones. Lots of ideas mulling around in my head, beer places being a part of the planning. <*))))))>< |
Originally posted by BlackHaddock Salton Sea is nice to visit for a few minutes just to see it. The place is run down and full of meth heads. Land is stupid cheap there right now, so if you have 10k USD and want a half acre of lake front property... Also, if you’re into off roading you can continue on to Glamis for the dunes. No beer to be found though. Julian is a nice place with two breweries and two meaderies somehow in a town of 20,000. Beautiful area worth a visit for sure. Actually that whole area up in the mountains is nice, but aside from Julian and one place in Ramona on the way back down the hill into Escondido there isn’t a lot of beer. But certainly more beer than Salton City / Imperial County. |
