New Albanian has turned into this for me. |
For me it’s got to be Batham’s. 139 years old. They do three beers: a Best Bitter and a Mild, plus XXX which is only available at Christmas. The Best is the only one available bottled. Really enjoy the Best and Mild. The XXX is Ok too. |

You guys really figure De Cam, De Ranke, de la Senne, Heater Allen, and De Dolle beers are merely "solid"? As in "solid but unexceptional"? |
Full Sail Session, though they have been adding some new additions to the line |
I’ll second the Heller and North Coast votes. |
When I lived in Jax, Intuition was my go to. They did some new beers here and there at the brewery but I didn’t get over there much, so when I needed a go-to brew, I would often grab a fresh local sixer of theirs, whatever fit my mood at the moment. Back then they only had three canned beers out regularly, a pale, an IPA, and a Kolsch. I drank a lot of that IPA when I lived there! |
