Had Tolchards Devon Coast tonight. A bland boring nothing of a beer.

Turns out Tolchards are a distributor rather than a brewer and I’m guessing thr beer was brewed by someone else for them.

Anyone know which brewery perpetrated this should-be-a-crime? Needless to say Tolchards’ website gives nothing away.

Really hacks me off this.

Cheers

Looks like Tolchards Devon County may well be a rebadge of Red Rock Red Rock. The fact that the descriptions (and abv) are identical provides the clue.

The other two Tolchards beers do not have any obvious counterparts in the Red Rock range.

Thanks Chris, great detective work!

I’ll add it ready to be aliased when I get a mo, along with Yotter Ale, another fecky rebadge (of Otter Ale - should have guessed! ) that I fell for this weekend.

When I’m emporer I’ll ban this sort of thing...

Cheers
