These donations are for the Union Street Fire Relief Fund that affected the public house at Jackie O’s and their neighboring businesses. This small community was hit with some major losses due to a recent fire and businesses such as Jackie O’s, which had to lay off 75% of their employees while they struggle to recover, are asking for your help in supporting those most affected by the fire.
A co-worker of mine from when I used to live in Athens, OH rallied the community and started this http://www.gofundme.com/athensfire ...and I wanted to do my part, so I’m giving away every Bourbon County release for 9 years to the lucky winner of this raffle.
I have already raised over $3000 for this cause and would like to get to $5000 before shutting this down, but I’m only going to leave this up for a few days while finalizing the drawing details with my good friend and Jackie O’s employee. He has agreed, as an impartial party, to draw the winner.
Again, tickets will be $25 each or 5 for $100 (if you want to donate more, there may be a few extra tickets in it for you as well :)

2014 variants are a stretch goal. I’ll post details on that shortly. Waiting for Jackie O’s to post about the raffle on their Blog in the next couple days before setting an exact goal for that. The 2014 variants, if added, will be a second prize to double your chances of winning something. JR Clark AKA HotMetal has also offered to donate one of his hand forged "WhaleSlayer" bottle openers as a prize as well! more info to come, thanks for your contributions and support! |

So now that we are at $6000 in donations, I’ve set a stretch goal of $10k and I’ll add a 2nd prize of all 5 variants from 2014. In addition, we’d still have a 3rd place prize from HotMetal Openers!
The plan right now is to cut off donations on 12/26 and have a winner selected by the end of the year.
