Last week, Abseits had the new Andreator Bock on tap. Check the link on here to see if it still does. Also the new beer shop close to Spezial has Ganstaller bottles.
Message 3fourths P beers 9492 º places 1576 º 12:12 Wed 10/19/2016 Heroldsmühle in Heiligenstadt also serves the Kellerbier http://www.ratebeer.com/p/heroldsmuhle-heiligenstadt/54470/ and the bottle shop near Spezial and Fassla is called Die Bierothek I’ll echo the comment about Eckerts... for such a modern, polished, and clean establishment with a focus on quality food, they seem to not care for their taps very well, and the last few visits the Ganstaller drafts have been tainted, sometimes it’s simply age, sometimes it’s sanitation.

Message SinH4 P beers 15466 º places 416 º 13:42 Wed 10/19/2016 as was already said: Stöhrenkeller, Abseits and Eckerts are the only places in Bamberg which have Gänstaller. Stöhrenkeller officially opens at 7pm (and usually also has Witzgall!) Abseits currently has Andreator, and Eckerts has the Zwickelpils, and the two times I was there it was in a fine condition. Seems like you’ll have to visit all three places to get three different Gänstaller beers :P

Sounds like someone had bad luck at Eckerts. Was good when I was there. Passed through on Friday to have lunch and Gerhard put the Gänstaller Doppelbock on. It was lovely. Stohrenkeller should have one of them on gravity though, no?
Message Dedollewaitor beers 21438 º places 541 º 14:36 Sat 10/22/2016 2012-14 I enjoyed Zwickl Pils on numerous visits at Eckerts. Last 3 visits previous 2 years it has been a whole different beer.. Its pretty common known they dont treat their beer well.. Unfortunatly..

While I’ve first had it this summer, I did have it once at Eckerts and then just a week later served by Andreas Gänstaller himself at Borefts, and I couldn’t really taste a difference. So apparently you can still be lucky / not unlucky at Eckerts.
