Theyíre learning what it is like playing in the SEC, even the crap teams can beat you, and the top teams can man handle you. They are in for a long season.

We never got a chance to see what our offense could do against the SEC, because our QB and O-line were hurt from the start. Getting further banged up by Georgiaís and SCís defenses didnít help, but even in the Big 12 we would have been in for a long season this year. Or so it now appears. Our "stud" QB coming back from surgery, missing spring practice, getting hurt again pretty quick, playing in pain... a riddled O-line, clueless OC, apparently ineffectual backup QB... Sorry, but I canít give the SEC credit for much of that.

Meanwhile: SC looking good enough to have a shot at Alabama. SC-Florida game looming large (Gators look seriously good but Iím not buying in all the way yet).

Hypothetical: Letís say one SEC team runs the table, be it Alabama, SC or whoever. Letís also say one Pac-12 team (Oregon?) and one Big 12 team (Kansas State or WVU) run the table. Who do you put in the championship game versus the SEC, the Pac or Big 12 winner?

Obviously it completely depends on how the rest of the conference looks at the end of the year (thus making the undefeated teams look better or worse) but my bet would be the Pac 12 team (especially if itís Oregon) would get the green light for the NC game.

As to your Florida bit, I completely agree with you. Iím a life long Florida fan but Iím not sold on the offense yet. Just not quitteeee where they want it yet. I donít know if Florida will be able to put up enough points to stick with SC, because we canít expect the Florida defense to hold the Gamecocks to 6...
