SourNotes 104:
on short order my wife is being sent to London for work and I am tagging along. started doing some searching and the amount of pubs and breweries and such is very daunting, almost intimidating. So, what I am looking for is some highly suggested ícanít missí places. I am not sure exactly where we will be staying at this point (should know by early next week) but we will be close to the Tube. I will be there the week of May 13th.

All suggestions welcome
Thanks
-Andrew

Youíll be better off posting this in the UK forum.

And yes thereís lots and lots to do in London these days on the beer front.

Luckily we have an excellent public transport system (despite what some folks might say) !

Iíll chip in further over in the UK forum - would also help to know exactly what youíre looking for ie ... traditional pubs, English brewers, cask ale specifically, good choice of European stuff also etc etc.

I had a good time at the Exmouth Arms and the Rake the last time I visited. The Craft Beer Company in Leather Lane was also quite an experience but although it seemed to be quite busy when I visited. The advantage of the first two places is that they are located in the proximity of some excellent street food markets, which means their location may appeal to the both of you.
