Message TheAlum beers 7164 º places 10 º 05:58 Sun 12/4/2011 1. Brewery Expansion has cut down production this year. 2. All the special treatment releases in bottle form have cut down production. Same goes for one-offs. For each one off we see at a festival, that’s one less barrel of regular BCS. For each bottle release of Coffee or Vanilla BCS, you’ll see less regular BCS released. 3. Other projects like sour barrels (Lolita, Juliet, Madame Rose and special festival relases) and other Bourbon projects (King Henry was placed in all the barrels that held rare). 4. This whole barrel program as a whole takes up a ton of room. Hard to balance that. 5. Another batch of 2011 will drop in February, at least in Chicago, we’ve been told.
