Just had some of this at the Barrel Bar. Apparently Stone gave out the recipe to several established breweries. Anyone know more about this? Does this qualify as a "new beer?"

I think it does. Different systems all off them. That’s actually a very cool experiment. Kind of like Poor’s Richards being made on 50+ systems. http://www.ratebeer.com/tag/poor-richards/

I think it should be considered a new beer for sure. Different equipment. Different batch size, different water for sure. Colorado has some damn good water. Plus everyone at Great Divide during my last visit all say theirs is way better.. haha

Anyone know the IBU’s of Arrogant Bastard? For some reason it has always been this massive secret.
