Maudite and Trois Pistoles sound like a good match. The Rogue brown would probably be nice too.

For a Portobella; treat it just as any red meat or pork would be paired with. Red Wine, Smoked, Ales and Stouts go well with it. 6/24/2008 6:07:35 PM

I marinate a portbella in Olive oil, then stuff with roasted red pepper,Greens, and blue cheese(or others), I have liked a Saison with this!thumbs up 6/25/2008 5:35:04 AM

I make a chicken stuffed Portabello that is pretty tasty.
I usually pair it with a nice Porter. thumbs up
Most of the higher rated Porters will go with it. Make sure to read some ratings & make sure licorice is NOT in the description.
Licorice does not go well with grilled foods, believe me.
