Good news!

As part of my ongoing renovations, I had applied for permission to install a Growler Station. After a long review process by the AGLC, they have granted permission for retailers to fill growlers on-site.

I’m pretty pumped for this!

Anyone want to drive down and help e break it in?

Awesome!
Growlers were available all over New Zealand when I lived there-- miss that! It will so cool to be able to get them here now! What’s on the list?

Anything currently available on draft, will be available at fine retailers everywhere in growler format, which means things like Wild Rose’s Alberta Crude Oatmeal Stout, the Tamarack Hat Trick Hop IPA, and other, draft-only offerings.

That is awesome! I have been getting growlers filled at Alley Kat for a while.

That is definitely exciting news!

Well done, Kyle. Will AGLC make this common knowledge with a press release or any printed matter? Now onto asking the better stores in Edmonton to get this going.

I hope to persuade the store I work at to do a keg or two for fills.

I tried - you fled Lethbridge! I didn’t want to visit your store if you weren’t there to give me a free growler fill.

Next time...

I did manage to get a pizza from Two Guys and a Pizza Place which was pretty tasty (and expensive).
