anish micro brewer attacks both misleading beer labels from industry giants - and phantom breweries like Mikkeller for holding back information on where their beers are actually brewed.
Well, as my post about Rogue said, this is happening. Rogue has essentially invented breweries in other countries and labeled beer as coming from these local brewers- not America. Re-branding is one thing, disguising and straight up lying is another.

The bottle of Mikkeller that I have in my cellar states where it was brewed (De Proefbrouwerij) is this not the case on most of their bottles?
I have a pair of Mikkellers on hand currently, and both have the brewery listet (De Proef, and Nogne O)
I dont really care where beers are brewed. If they taste good then thats good enough for me. If i wake up tomorrow to find that stella have made the finest gueuze ever made, i’ll be all over it like flannel.
