Hi, |
Welcome! We’re all amateurs here, so don’t worry about your reviews, as long as you’re giving an honest opinion it’s good enough for us! |
Never heard of the book but it looks like you are on to a good start. I bought the Weihenstephaner Keller Bier over the weekend and I am looking forward to opening a few of those this week. |
Well we have both reviewed this beer. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/goldmark-ebony-mild/241097/414177/If you compare your newbie review against my review, a guy who has reviewed nearly 4000 beers and been on here over 3 years. You decide if your reviews look amateur. |

And to the op, welcome aboard and don’t worry a bit about the quality of your reviews. Just write your impressions, and score by how much you enjoy it. |
Originally posted by BeardedAvenger Hi there, and welcome. I got the same book from my wife maybe 8-9 years ago and I’m stuck on 238 :-). Also been trying to rate beers from the "300 More" book, but I haven’t really made great progress there. |
Welcome! I’m certainly not a technically correct reviewer and I’ve had my share. As others have said, be honest and rate how it makes sense for you. And most importantly, have fun! Good luck on finishing up that 300! |
Hi, enjoy checking out books? |
I laugh at beer reviews sometimes, then see that it was my own. I’ve never been judged. Yet! Cheers. |
Welcome! There’s a good UK presence on RB (I’m based in London). Have you found the UK local forum? There’s usually some fun discussion on there. |
