Helsinki July 21-25

I’ll visit Helsinki for the Tuska metal festival next week.

Will arrive (by plane) Thursday July 21, plan is to start with Teerenpeli and Bruuveri before we check in to our hotel.
After this we’ll head to Restaurang Sveaborgs Bryggeri, then back to the mainland and One Pint Pub.

If we can stand up for more Thursday night, or if we can make it at night after any of the festival days, we might also hit other spots in town, e.g. Perhon Panimo.

Is there any special events, opening hours, places closed for vacation or anything else that is good to know before we head over?

One Pint Pub has plenty of own export German beers right now and Pikkulintu has Bitter&Sour-weeks.

Back home again, managed to taste some nice beers.

Have a few from Panimoravintola Bruuveri I don’t find though, anyone knows where to place them or if I should add them as new ones?

Both Marsalkkas and Lentomestari are brewed by Saimaan Juomatehdas.

Morsmaikku is a new one and is indeed missing from RB. It is brewed at Bruuveri or so I’ve understood.

Of course I might have written down the alcohol wrong, or they did to the board where I copied it from

One more beer I am missing.

I visited the metal bar "Dom" which us centrally located close to Kamppi.

They had a bottled beer called "Day of Dom Beer Cerveza" from Nokian Panimo Oy. It was a 33 cl bottle at 4,5% ABV that tasted like a lager beer.

I’m guessing it’s a labelled beer, but should I add it and let someone place it as an alias?

Bruuveri and Saimaan Olut are way too confusing. It may be that they have tweaked the recipe of Lentomestari a little bit and now its ABV is only 5.0 %. Still, I would not make it as a separate entry but evetually that is up to admins to decide.

The beer you had at Dom is quite likely Nokian Keisari Lager with just a different label as you already assumed.
