ell, I知 not trading much recently but have wanted to do a contest like this for quite some time (so here we go.) I知 a huge fan of homebrew and would like to try more (of all styles.) So what I知 offering a contest for a bottle of 2009 Darkness, in exchange for homebrew reviews.

What I would ask is that each home brewer would send either 1-22oz or 2-12oz homebrews for review by the the Mpls/St. Paul locals. Once a tasting/reviewing date is determined I will ask all participants to ship. Following the review date, I will post the winner and ship a bottle of Darkness to the winner.

If you池e interested, please reply via the thread over in the trade forum. (Or beermail me if you have questions).

This is interesting.

What are the guidelines?

Only guideline is the sending 1-22oz or 2-12oz bottles of your best homebrew for a blind tasting by the Mpls crew. Ship date TBD based on when we have enough sign-ups.

gcphilli :0 Will you be posting all ratings and notes? A bottle of Darkness is great for the winner but I am really interested in other opinions and reviews of my brews. 11/12/2009 11:23:06 AM

(My Reply)
I was planning having some rating sheets for the event (similar to how we rate online) and taking notes/ratings on all the brews submitted. I would provide these to the other people at the tasting and ask they do the same (although understanding that some may not be as detailed as others). With that said, I would be happy to consoldate all the notes and send them back to people via beermail.
