ust popped a bottle to celebrate rating 500, and I wanted to share with you all that it is drinking beautifully. Top notch stuff, if only buying it didn’t make me poor

It’s a fascinating beer, and has changed significantly since its release. I’m not sure what the ideal age is, and the jury is still out on its aging potential -- some people think it will basically become Framboos v.2, and some people think it will detoriate completely within a couple years.

that is definitely a beer I wish I was not in such a hurry to try. I had it twice early in its life and the second time was better than the first, so it will probably be much better now.

I drank one last week. It was exceptional. The best raspberry lambic/framboise I’ve had.

I had one last night, it’s way too sweet for me. Give it 5 years or so and it might become as superb as the draught frambozen they used to sell at the pub, but IMO it doesn’t hold a candle to that or RDG.
Good beer underneath, just drowned by sweetness.

Wouldn’t the Three Floyds be Homage and pronounced as "HOMidge" rather than Trois Fonteinen "’oMARsh"

Wow, I find the Hommage to be extremely dry and sour with very little residual sweetness.

On the topic of Hommage, why the hell does it have a synthetic cork?? Its the only Belgian lambic I have seen without a real cork. Its cork doesn’t even resemble a real cork, it looks straight up rubber. Oh well, goo beer below!!
