realize that certain beers should be enjoyed at different temperatures, but I usually drink mine straight from the fridge and from a pint glass no matter what it is.
Do you use different style glass for your different style beers? Do you let them warm up a little depending on the style? Do you drink straight from the bottle/can in certain circumstances? Do you sip or gulp?
I’m not looking for advice on how I should drink my beer, just wondering what some of your opinions are.

I tend to take larger sips than others for whatever reason, thought it doesn’t affect my enjoyment at all. For stouts and barley wines and other such styles I like to let the bottle warm up just a bit before pouring it. 99.9% of the time I drink from a glass.
But for anything canned, shot-gunning is my only completely acceptable method of consumption .

There is a good start on the glassware. Also on every beer’s page, next to the score/stats is a "Serve In" box. Most of those are good suggestions.
Temperature wise it all depends on the individual beer/style. For me, most beers come out of the fridge and get poured, then sit around for a while getting sipped on while I enjoy and take note of how it develops with temperature change.

Theres an article about the serving temp,.I just skimmed through it a little, so I can’t say how much I really agree with it, but from what I saw it seemed about right.

Thanks for the links, but like I said I’m not looking for advice on how best to consume beer. I’m just wondering how different members actually drink their beer... do they change glass styles and temperatures depending on the style of beer? Does anyone drink from the bottle, etc.

From either a pint glass or one of my tasting glasses, the temp varies depending on the beer. None of this happens when I’m drinking macros (like the 6 pack of Busch tall boys I bought last night), I usually just drink at fridge temp from the container it came in.

I used to drink everything out of a snifter. Now I use a pint glass 75% of the time but I have glassware for different styles. If I’m trying something for the first time and/or rating it I usually put it in a snifter/tulip.
I drink most things out of the fridge though some styles I let warm up for 10-30 minutes depending on the style.
Never drink out of the bottle.

I have about 75 glasses, and at least one of every type of glassware I’ve ever seen (only one thistle glass). I usually use the correct type of glassware for each beer. As far as sip size goes, I tend to drink in large sips, as it allows me to take in the flavor of a beer easily. Glassware is VERY important to me.

I drink everything out of my snifter...used to be the DFH Snifter...but I broke that last week and bought a Duvel snifter (personally liked the DFH one more)...
I always let impy stouts, ipas, and belgians warm up for a good ten minutes and take my time because those beers are best at almost room temp in my opinion.
Only thing I drink from the bottle is macros.
I usually take a good sized sip and swish it around in my mouth a little bit while Im rating...

Like most tickers, I pour two ounces into a four ounce sample glass, roll a sip of it around my mouth, then spit it into the sink where it joins the 1+ ounces that I drain-poured from my sampler.
