About the top 50 highest rated beers.... There is a minimum amount of ratings for the beer needed to enter this list. |
.... wat? |
You need 10,885 beers to enter the top 50: http://www.ratebeer.com/Users/TopUsers.asp |
Do you mean -- How many perfect 5.0 scores would a beer need to get an adjusted score of 4.17 and be in the Top 50? http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/top-50/ |

Your spelling is improving, congrats. But now your punctuation needs work. |
Originally posted by blipp Doesn’t have to be restricted to perfect 5’s. I see a lot of beers above the 4,17 weighted AVG border to currently enter the top 50. They aren’t in there, since they have to little ratings. So I started wondering, when they cán enter the list. I know meads, (ice) ciders and saké’s are also not listed in the top 50, so this question is strictly for beers with the high weighted AVG, but low amount of ratings. |
Originally posted by kraddel Ahh gotcha gotcha. I don’t know when it was implemented, but it does look like there is now a 50 rate minimum to get on that list. I paged through a few pages, and there are several with rate counts in the 50s, and none in the 40s. |
It was 10 recently but now its at 50 (as far I can tell from the topics Ive followed) |
There’s something kind of beautiful about it requiring 50 ratings to be considered for the Top 50. |
