Wuss. There’s still time to stop being cheap and fly to Vancouver.

I,ve got a couple white collar familys that live around me. Nice folks but man do they put in alot of hours at work! They,re well educated, drive new fairly expensive vehicles, homes are LARGE, campers, boats, the whole nine yards. But you rarely see them at home. I got a chance to talk to my one neighbor and he told me that the over time he HAD to work was killing him. I,m a blue collar guy and i,m ok with that. I dont make big $$$$$ but i get home at a decent hour and enjoy my family, my garden, home projects and of course my little beer cellar. More money would be nice but i,d just be further in debt and working my lazy ass off to pay more bills. Lifes to short. Nice post cobra

I make a little over $40K per year. I live in the basement of my parents’ home. So I’m loaded!
Am I cool now?

As with anything, there is a balance. There are people who save save save and don’t enjoy the present as well as they could. No way to know how long you’ve got on this planet, so enjoy it. I save plenty, but I’d rather enjoy a substantial portion of what I make when I’m young, healthy, and active than when I’m 80.
