If I ever emigrate to another country I’ll definitely move to Sweden. I’ve completely fallen in love with that country over the years and based on the times I’ve been there I won’t miss any brewery or beer.

I am definitely going to miss Calfkiller (Sparta, TN). every beer from them has been an amazing eye opener, always sessionable, and always incredibly fresh since their kegs sell out so fast.

You’re going to miss those keg thiefs?

Jack’s Abby. But, I’d trade Jack’s Abby at 1.5 hours away for almost anything within 15 minutes.

Alberta breweries are generally forgettable. The only local-ish breweries I would miss are Tamarack in Montana, and Half Pints out in Winnipeg.

You wouldn’t miss Alley Kat, Sav?

Savvy and I share the same locals, and I agree with him for the most part (I would add Paddock Wood to your list of non-local micros I’d miss). Although, having lived all over Canada I know that there are many places worse off than we are here! I for one would miss Alley Kat, our local Edmonton Alberta micro. They are not world class (yet), but over the past 2 years have really stepped up their game, and now are consistently cranking out good (and sometimes awesome) limited releases with their Big Bottle series, and they aren’t afraid to try unusual styles. I also like their Full Moon Pale Ale as a have-on-hand session ale.

Having said all that, if I were moving to say, Chicago, well then I wouldn’t be shedding any tears for beer! It’s all perspective I guess.

None. I want to open up a beer bar here but it would be hard to not have any local stuff on tap as people are all about that shit these days, especially round here.
