ell I should preface that by saying in Oklahoma I’ve run out of beers to try, Sure there are some malt liquors that I haven’t had yet. But I really would like to taste something new that is really good. I’ve done liquid solutions a couple of times but its hard to justify spending $100 every month for a 12 pack or so. My guys at the local beer store are good about calling me when something new shows up, but its been a while since I was wowed by a beer. I guess its time to do some trading, well actually its going to be too hot very soon to do any trading or shipping of beer. Anyways Im just bitching.

Well, you should have made more of an effort to swing by my hotel for some new shit. I had a pile of it and hardly drank any of it while I was there.

Trade, travel and tastings are the answers. I long ago ran out of new stuff to try in IA. However, we still get at least a few new ones a month if I pay attention. Luckily I am only a few hours from Madison, WI and Chicago. With each trip I am able to come home with a trunk full of new stuff. Also, some locals are crazy traders and I am able to try some good stuff each time we have a tasting.

Good luck! cheers!

Yeah, god forbid that someone would actually drink the same beer more than once. There really is more to beer drinking than ticking and rating.

This has happened with me many many times. Glasgow or scotland as a whole is pritty much a beer desert, with places selling the same beers everywhere. However either save up and get a big bulk load in off the web or drive to a shop you’ve never been to before.

Otherwise organise a tasting, invite anyone and everyone that on ratebeer, pull some good beers out the cellar that will make as many people as possible want to come and i can assure you that every ratebeerian that comes will share your own generosity by giving you beers you havnt had.

Also hit the trade forum like the fist of an angry god!
