Oh yeah, I may also add that the last 2 boxes from UPS that incurred broken bottles that were being sent to me, UPS repacked and reboxed and still delivered them.

USPS called me once to pick up a box with broken bottles in them from the post office (I got lectured that I was not supposed recieve beer in the Mail, but they still gave it to me).

Once again, luck of the draw.

In this case...if my box was damaged I wish they would have just delivered it to Andy. No way all the bottles were damaged, unless they ran it over with the truck or something.

having shipped thousands of boxes through all the carriers, i can tell you UPS, is Much more reliable the DHL. You just had bad luck unfortunately. We have a problem with about 1 in 1000 boxes we ship via UPS.....
Post office is about 1 in 500....
DHL you will be lucky if 1 in 25 is problem free....and Fed Ex ground is about 1 in 100...
Sorry there is no comparison...UPS is a bit more expensive but much more reliable when it comes to lost/misdelivered/brken.....

ppoitras 0:0 UPS confiscated a package headed my way with $100 worth of unreplaceable beer in it, said it couldn’t be delivered, was against policy. So they’re not perfect either...

Gotta get an online account. Cheaper. Fedex broke some bottles I sent to Cali then tried to ship it back to me.

I called them and told them to please deliver it. They repacked it and sent it on it’s way. Broke 3 bottles......I had to replace them.

yep, fed ex will deliver leaky boxes if you ask them to. My vote goes to Fed ex. After 20 beer deliveries no problems. I did have a Heavyweight Saison leak, but they still delivered the box.

Create an online account and you will not need any forms. Drop it off and you are done thumbs up

I was getting tired of making small talk with the desk clerk. I pull up, drop it off and say goodbye. Very easy.

llafoe 40:2 The carrier is the least of my worries. I’m more concerned how addicting trading is! shocked

I’ve used UPS thus far and haven’t had an issue (aside from a frozen bottle). (knock on wood)

I have had 30 excellent shipments with UPS and 2 horrible shipments with UPS. Of those 2, both got sent back to me. Of the shipments I have received, DHL has broken one and FedEx has broken one. 2/8/2007 9:43:49 PM

While we all feel your pain, and your story is a little more odd than most, all carriers have issues. The volume UPS does is staggering, something like 70% I think of the small parcel business goes through UPS, that they don’t break more is a testament to their business. 2/8/2007 9:46:09 PM
