Do you want to be a part of something fun and exciting in the craft beer industry? Imbibe Bottle House & Taproom (www.imbibebeer.com) is a brand new specialty bottle shop and craft beer taproom bringing Maple Valley and the surrounding areas the most refined craft beer experience.

We are seeking full time and part time positions for positive, friendly, outgoing individuals with engaging personalities that enjoy craft beer and can hold a conversation about basic beer styles and local breweries.

Responsibilities:

+ Create a fun, high-energy environment.

+ Greet each guest immediately (within 3 seconds) when they walk through the door.

+ Make guests feel welcome and relaxed.

+ Pour beer for guests properly and efficiently.

+ Assist customers in selecting beers, ciders and wines from our constantly rotating tap list and extensive bottle selection.

+ Maintain a working knowledge of beer styles and Pacific Northwest breweries (and beyond).

+ Maintain a very clean working and customer service area. This includes but is not limited to: clearing tables, cleaning dishes, wiping down bar and table tops, mopping, sweeping, and any other cleaning necessary to maintain a welcoming environment for your fellow Beertenders and customers.

+ Stock retail areas (able to lift up to 30lbs and able to move up to 160lbs).

+ Accurately and efficiently handle cash and credit card transactions.

+ Complete opening and closing responsibilities (checklist).

+ Complete all side work and other tasks including but not limited to the preparation for Brewers Nights and other special events held on site.

Required Skills:

+ Strong knowledge of all types of beer. This includes being able to quickly describe flavor notes of various beers and styles of beers, ciders, and wines.

+ A friendly and outgoing disposition with a thirst for knowledge and desire to not only learn about beer but educate guests about it as well.

+ Ability to work alone or in a team and ability to get along well with co-workers.

+ High School diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience.

+ Ability to multitask in a high volume service environment, serving multiple guests at once; pouring drinks, assembling sampler trays, filling growlers, prepari
