  nyone tried this combination?
Its the only beer and caviar combination I’ve ever heard of and it makes sense.
I’ve got a small jar of lumpfish roe. Not sure how I’m going to use them, probably not quality enough to eat straight up, but may be good on a cracker with sour cream and/or a slice of boiled egg.
And so maybe I’ll get out an imperial stout to pair...

I’ve done Saison and caviar and IIPA and caviar. Both paired very well. Never tried a RIS with caviar, though.

Boiled or roasted potatoes with creme fraiche, or sour cream in a pinch. Should cut down on the salt a bit.

Well in terms of what I got sitting in my extremely small selection, I’ve got a far better saison (Foret) than imperial stout (Sam adams!).

In a major pinch, table water crackers and/or cream cheese also do the trick.

I hate both, IMNSHO, they deserve each other. Raw fish eggs and terrble beer. What could be worse, together?
Durian fruit and Klingon Gagh?

Actually, they are not raw, but salt cured.
