Depends how it sells, I guess. I don’t have a whole lot of interest, but I might try some if the price is right and I can just get a single somewhere rather than having to risk an entire 6 pack. The fact that it isn’t real tea (and thus has no caffeine) is actually a plus to me- I really try to avoid caffeine, so a beer brewed with coffee or tea is generally not something I’ll consume. |
Mill St. here in Toronto makes one - I can’t say I’d drink it all the time, but it’s not terrible. |
There’s a Yerba Mate beer made at Cumberland in Louisville that is pretty neat. My guess, though, is that this tea flavored "beer" will be more akin to Boston Beer Co.’s Twisted Teas... |
I would imagine a tea base IPA/IIPA would be great! |
