Glad you enjoyed it (assuming Almanac Pluot). One of my favorite sours.

Weyerbacher Riserva might be around your way but not sure about price. I am told it is delicious.

Berliner Kindl Weisse is super cheap where I am. Not sure if it’s expensive where you are. It’s very clean and light.

I love this stuff and its the cheapest authentic gueuze around. I prefer it to Cantillon gueuze and lots of others, actually.

I see a lot of Berliner and Gose suggestions here, which only makes sense if we care only about price. Someone coming into one of those styles expecting it to taste anything like a lambic or wild ale are going to be pretty disappointed.

Well, it also makes sense if he’s interested in sours...Because Berliner Weisse and Gose are both sour...

Yep. For me it’s in the top three, with 3font and black label being a touch above. But it’s a fantastic beer at twice the price it sells for!

You’re forgetting who the OP is.... and the first word in the title of the thread.

In my opinions:
Rene Cuvee then Girardin categorically above all the other regularly available gueuzes

A blind gueuze tasting may be in order....
