Formerly known as the Irish Craft Beer Festival, the
Irish Craft Beer Village is delighted to announce its return to the IFSC.

The Village opens at 12pm on Wednesday, runs daily from until 10pm (except for Friday and Saturday, it will run until 12.30am).

Free admission from 12pm – 7pm Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th.

Admission is €5 at the door after 7pm, and all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

I went yesterday, small set up promising, a little sad though that only 2 new beers were specifically brewed for this event but it’s a pretty good gateway to craftbeer for the masses.

Fairly reasonably priced and if you bring proof of entry to ’The Brew Dock’ right beside it, they’ll give you a free pint of Galway Bay beer.

Hopefully we’ll see many more Irish events in the coming months and years.

No, I don’t have theirs. I’ll check again to see if/what the menu says.

Also - I know we don’t add dry hopped versions of beers here however O’Haras are showcasing their ’new’ beer which is Leann Foileann Dry Hopped, they’ve created a new badge etc for it and are selling it alongside the regular one... thoughts?

I’d say definitely add it. if its a one-off for the festival then we can retire it straight away or leave it until such time as we know its a one off. Hope they bottle these things would have loved to come down to try them

Intriguing festival post! Jimmy - got to get back to Ireland!!! Definitely add the beer even if it is a one off (so you did...) and hope it be served one day for beer aficionados only!

If this is a cask beer with the only difference being hops, it is not a new entry. Sounds awesome though! I wish I was back in Eire.
