3 Fonteinen J & J Oude Geuze Blauw
Fish Tale Poseidons Imperial Stout (Barrel Aged)
This would essentially be the core offer, and it would be workable to the wants list of anyone willing to part with a bottle. Other things of note that could be interchanged include North Coast Old Stock Brandy Barrel, RR Deviation, Olfabrikken Winter Stout, etc. I have other locals interested in making this trade work, so multiple cellars could be involved if necessary. Let me get this straight-- you guys are willing to send ALL of the aforementioned beers (BA Wee Heavy ’05, BA Old Numbskull ’05, J & J Blauw, BA Poseidon [which has to be pre-2004], AND a Doggie Claws ’01 1.5-Liter), PLUS some other extras from "other locals interested in making this trade," just for a single bottle of Stille Nacht Reserva ’00?
Wow, is this stuff really *that* impossible to find nowadays? Isn’t that about $200-ish worth of beer? Seems like a hell of a deal for someone with an extra bottle of Stille Nacht Reserva ’00. I’d guess at least one or two of those beers will be BETTER than the Stille Nacht, at this point. Sorry I can’t help out.
