Time to crack the cellar open for someone with access to this gem. I’ve missed two vintages now . Hopefully I can find enough to make it worth someones while to ship overseas.

I just visited Jeppe at Ølbutikken today and he gave me a little additional info that I’ll pass on as there’s so much focus on this beer.

The 2011 batch had a yield of 370 litres. 200 75cl bottles were made, the rest was made to 37,5 cl bottles.

Release will be this Saturday June 25th - most likely all 200 bottles will sell out this very day.

Bottle allotment will be 1 big + 1 small bottle per customer - no exceptions made.

There will be people driving in from as faraway places as Stockholm and Belgium just to get their two bottles - that’s quite unusual for Europe.
Prices are $23 for the small and $46 for the big bottles.

The beer will be considered sold out when the 200 big bottles are gone. The remaining small bottles - if any - will be available only for in house consumption at Ølbutikken during July.

Please don’t flood Jeppe with emails and beermails - he’s already getting around a 100 a day and I somehow doubt he can make any reservations.

almost right papsø except the yield was only 270 litres. started with a 400 litre barrel, the berries ate 100 litres, the weather and fermentation 30 more.

so approx 200 + 200 bottes will be sold and the rest will go to drink in and a few for my brothers bar.
