’ll be for 10 days in Kalamazoo, MI, in the end of November. Any advice on finding good beer, events and places in a 40-50 mile radius? Obviously I’m heading to Bells and have already been to Arcadia in Battle Creek.
Many thanks!

Dark Horse in Marshall, MI is a must stop. Very comfortable place, great beer, great people.
Olde Peninsula in Kzoo is fun too.
But you’ll spend a lot of time at Bell’s I’m sure and that is a great place. Enjoy!

If you’re willing to travel a little more than 50 minutes...
Founder’s and HopCat are an hour north in Grand Rapids - there’s a bunch of other breweries/bars here too.
Dark Horse is about 40 minutes East and a great place for beers and food.
Livery is south of K-zoo about an hour and well worth the trip.
New Holland is about 50 minutes to an hour northeast of K-zoo and is also a great place.
That’s how I’d rank the stops in order of must do’s.
Haven’t been to any stores out that way, but Sicliano’s in Grand Rapids seems to be the best store on the west side of the state.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers, Jeff

Thanks so much so far guys. The Olde Peninsula is nice indeed, hope to see if they have new seasonals. I think the Dark Horse is the first on my list outside K’zoo. Grand Rapids (especially Founders) looks very interesting too. Just have to convince my gf to do a day trip there, visit stuff and fill up the trunk with good beer at the same time.
