Some of you may have seen this already on the Fair State Twitter account, but they are releasing the first in their series of kettle soured beers this coming Thursday.
Levi and I isolated a pretty unique (in brewing at least) strain of lacto for the guys at Fair State to use, and I have to say that I’m fairly happy with the result! It’s a nice clean sour that provides a good starting point for some of the crazier ideas we will be playing with this lacto on.
(But yes, I am biased)

I believe they do their releases right when the open, so at 4pm.
I’m sure that the base beer will be on all night, but there will also be a keg of a dry hopped version...those single kegs tend to move a bit faster, and have kicked by 6:30 (I think) most Thursdays.
