I have one each of 99-03 and was planning on drinking the flight with family/friends on a special occasion, ideally Christmas. The question is which Christmas should I crack these open:

2012
2013
2014
Other

Thanks for any input, happy Friday!

Come to England. Fly to London. Go to Victoria rail station. Catch a train to Herne Bay. Catch a cab to The Butchers Arms in Herne. Drink 2004 JW Lees Harvest Ale on cask. Thank whatever deity you believe or not believe in that you are alive to experience such gloriousness.

Otherwise drink them this Xmas who knows what will happen in the future?

I had a 1997 last year and it looked, smelled, and initially tasted wonderfully...but the second half of the taste was heavily oxidized. It was still enjoyable but Id hope for a special Christmas this year. It would, of course, be bad ass if you could take your 99-03 bottles to Herne and cap off the vertical with that 04 cask. Time to cash in some airline miles...

I drank a 99 a month ago and it still has amazing potential in the cellar. So tasty!!!!!! However, drink them this Christmas with some C&B Stilton.
