I have been searching for an update on Foglight, nothing yet.
Clandestine (San Jose) is still closed, last I heard they are still searching for a new location.
Boulder Creek continues to exist ephemerally as a client/collaboration brewer. Haven’t heard much about their planned rebuild in a while.
Armstrong (South SF) is back with regular hours.

Can one of you guys confirm what three hops are in this when you try it (as you invariably will, filthy tickers)?

Unlikely, unfortunately. I am using all of my stored credit to get a hall pas for Sunday the 31st. I am making a brief stop at Rare Barrel tomorrow afternoon with the wife to pick up all this shit that has been piling up there. |

No. I was looking for one earlier today. They have a sign up in the window, but the info comes from the consulting brewers (old Schooners guys - Craig and Shaun). I think Roger Lind (original Drakes brewer) may also be involved - or wants to be, but the head brewer is a kid from Creek Monkey that everyone is excited about.
If I remember right, the actual owners already have an upscale restaurant in Danville (Bridges) and a Wine Bar (The Vine). I think I heard this was their son’s thing. I’ve heard nothing but good things. Food will be upscale burgers. |
I’m sure I’ll get to Drakes in the next week or so and try it. Liked Volume 3. |
