They will be serving at the SF Beer week opening gala, which is how I picked them up.

According to their facebook, Laughing Monk is building a physical tasting room that should open in a month or two.

Not a brewery, but these guys just opened up earlier this month.

Interesting concept, as they deliver fresh growlers (32 oz. only it seems) to your door from several area breweries. Prices are pretty steep as you would imagine, but not quite as horrible as I was thinking. Of course, most of us would prefer to stop in at the brewery itself, but the article I read on these guys said they sold out their inventory the first two weeks and already have 2,000 people on the interest list.

There’s also a place called Bald Mountain located in Brown’s Valley, CA, I believe. Seems like a bunch of hippy homebrewers, though.

Added recently by the affiliated user. Preliminary google search turns up a chain in South Korea. A little digging shows that they indeed had plans to expand to the old Lost Coast location in Eureka, but I can’t really find much about their status. One of you tick whores wanna road trip up there and find out?
