While talking Kernel, I’m drinking the Stella ipa which is fantastic. However, its 7.5%, while the listing says 6%. I’ve had a number of kernels with small variations in abv, so I’ve happily put my rate under the current listing with a note of the abv. However, with a brewery like kernel, how is the line decided that a similar beer has a new listing due to a significant change in abv?

Good question! I’ve only added beers where I know they have changed the recipie - Saison 5.2% is an example. 1.5% is a significant deviation in abv for the Stella. Maybe it does warrant it’s own entry. Maybe ChrisO or another admin would care to comment. BTW that new 7.5 version I found to be brutally bitter!
