Heading to MTL this weekend with about a dozen guys for a bachelor party. We will be hitting the Jays game and then out for a night of drinking. The group is up for good beer but also the likes of Peel Pub. Any suggestions for a good dinner spot that can handle that many people? L’Amere A Boire is the only place that springs to mind. |
I think Vices & Versa is probably the biggest place that serves food nowadays. All the brewpubs are pretty tiny for that kind of thing. Les soeurs-grises I heard had some decent food and more of that "night-out" feel than a lot of brewpubs have but I haven’t been. |
Brouhaha has three sections, maybe pic the one that does not show Habs game. Brutopia could be OK. L’Amere à Boire is a good choix, the upper level were the kitchen is would fit 12 guys. |
the new Bier Markt downtown looks upscale & huge but I may be late in posting... |

We ended up doing the Jays game, dinner at Bier Markt, Peel Pub, and a couple of us hit Poutineville while others sought out some entertainment. We were going to hit DDC after the game but the timing didn’t work out great. Dinner at Bier Markt was surprisingly good. Impressive beer selection compared to the Toronto location! I had a 3F Geuze and a couple of draft Le Castor Yakima’s. |
Sounds like a success again sorry about my late suggestion but I am based in Kyoto ^_- |
