Hate places with lots of taps, so much old ass beer and they usually don’t maintain their lines.

Henrik Øl & Vinstove, Bergen, Norway 54 - no doubles

Ølhallen, Tromsø, Norway - Claim to have 67, but as the linked vido shows, a lot of them is not in use (yet?)

The owners of Piw Paw in Warsaw are planning to open a pub with 100 taps. Dunno how many stale beers that will mean but since Warsaw is still experiencing a boom for multitaps (all of the existing ones are permanently crowded) and the owners have already experience with a 57 tap bar, I guess they know what they’re doing.

Brasserie 4:20 in Rome has 53 and a great overall selection.
As was mentioned, Open Baladin in Rome has 44 with all being Italian craft beer.
Bir e Fud has 39 taps, also in Rome.

Of the 36 beers I had in Piw Paw, Warsaw, I think at least a third were off, some were downright rank. I’m pretty much immune to diacetyl, and even I was gagging just from the sickly smell at arms length. (Don’t worry, flaw fans, there was lacticity by the bucketload, and a several terry towels full of butyric acid too!)

Anyone who thinks that them opening a 100-tap bar would be progress just ain’t right in the head.

no

Probably depends on the bar. For Mikkeller and Friends it is a definate yes. If beers go off they are taken off immediately.

So you can’t generalize your answer to Gareths question

To add to this, we have 45 taps in The Craft Beer Co - Covent Garden and its not a case of keeping the beers in good condition its a case of trying to keep the lines on all the time as its so busy everything finishes so quickly.
