Cascade. So foundational to the evolution of craft beer, and yet so frequently secondary to designer varieties in this day and age.

yep. I used to grow Cascade (and chinook) while living in the Puget Sound area and homebrewed all Cascade IPAs with those hops.

Columbus and EKG underrated? Love ’em.

Ha. Cascade is one of the original designer hops, if such a thing exists.

I would vote magnum, the unsung alpha champion these days. A bittering workhorse that can go in anything.

I’m so over Cascade.

I definitely see Magnum being underrated. It’s a versatile neutral bittering hop with high AA content that allows for the flavor to be fully developed with late additions without missing on bitterness.

Saaz and Hallertau seem to be missing in my life

Apollo or Galaxy. As a personal preference, Citra will always be the best.
