New D.C. breweries on horizon

Check out the Washington City Paper. Lots of new stuff coming up it looks like. Handsome Beer Company contracting out of Old Bust Head, National Capital Brewing Company in SE somewhere, Haupstadt, Fishbowl and Pulaski. Lot of these are just "plans" at this point but will be cool if some of them turn out.

National Capital is a creative name. I think Handsome is pretty far along, not sure about the others.

National capital was apparently the resurrected name from a pre-prohibition brewery.

And i think it said they were contracting out of Beltway. Or someone was anyway. Pulaski was making a premium lager out of there or something.

They are definitely looking to put a brick and mortar place east of the river.

Beltway is the one that only opens during Friday evening rush hour, right? It’s easier for me to fly to Europe than it is to drive to Beltway.

Is that snark, or are you commenting on the capital/Capitol thing? In that case it’s pretty clever, social commentary on K Street, money in politics and whatnot.

DC is the national capital. although that’s redundant. it’s not very creative.

New District opening in October in Shirlington. Not sure how they can all make it.
