Candidates should sen their resume and cover letter to careers@sessionssf.com

Opening in the late spring, Sessions at the Presidio will be a 140 seat restaurant and beer garden featuring craft beer, craft cuisine and craft cocktails. The inspiration for our restaurant comes from the English pub idea of the "Session". . . a prized moment when good friends gather around to share the pleasures of the table and the glass. Sessions will not however be a pub nor a gastropub but a contemporary San Francisco restaurant with a focus on shared small plates showcasing the best ingredients, including organic produce grown for us by Skywalker Ranch in Marin County.
Sessions will feature over 100 craft beers, with 20 on draught and a focus on small producers. Our craft cocktail program will also focus on small batch distilleries, and our diverse wine list will include 16 wines on tap.

We are currently interviewing for the following key positions;

Head Beer Evangelist/Cicerone - If you have a deep passion, understanding and knowledge of all things brewed and fermented, we want to speak with you. We seek an impassioned beer educator who will teach and inspire our staff and our customers. The scope of this job could be flexible based upon your experience in the restaurant industry, so we encourage applicants of diverse backgrounds to apply. Cicerone certification appreciated but not required.

Assistant General Manager -- Candidates should have at least 3 years restaurant management experience in high quality dining establishments. Strong food and beverage knowledge required. Strong wine and/or beer knowledge desired. We are looking for an effective communicator to mentor our staff and inspire excellence in service in a convivial environment. Must be highly organized, with strong attention to detail.

Events Coordinator -- The events coordinator will solicit and facilitate catering services for the 2400 square foot events space adjacent to Sessions. The event coordinator will be the primary point of contact for the client up until the day of the event, and will be responsible for generating BEOs and securing event contracts as well as procuring rentals as necessary and coordinating with outside vendor services. Effective communication with the client, kitchen and banquet captain is critical for success in this position. Much of the work of the event coordinator can be done remotely, but the coordinator will need to be available for site inspections and VIP events.

Lead Bartender -- We seek creative and talented candidates with a passion for craft cocktails and small batch spirits. We are looking for a working bartender who will also have some limited managerial duties. The Lead Bartender will create a seasonally rotating cocktail list, and will be responsible for developing recipes and training bar staff on those recipes as well as general bar techniques and procedures.

Pastry Chef --
