From my limited notes, I really enjoyed the big honey florals in the aroma. The body was perfect for a mead and I didn’t notice the alcohol (although to be honest I already had a few by this point.) I would have thought it was a commercial mead if you hadn’t told me otherwise.

It was very good - except for that plasticy phenol I got.

I thought the barleywine was very similar to Pisgah Hellbender.
