Ramstein is your best bet. he is almost always open during the day to fill a growler or sell a sixpack.

I have never been, but kroghs is up in Sparta. I dont think it is supposed to be that great, but I think soon hophead75 will be brewing his gold medal imperial stout there- so that would be the time to go.

long valley is pretty decent too.

Triumph in New Hope, PA, and river horse are across the river from eachother, and there is a winery that makes some kickass ice cider- Alba.

When? That is awesome! Gold Medal, where did it win? Not like it wasn’t worthy, I had many of your brews Andrew and if it was anything like the coffee stout you deserve it!

Sorry to threadjack.

iratherbe 255:32 How far up in NW NJ? Play a round a Bear Brook, take the spouse / your girl to Lafayette Village & then hithttp://www.saltgastropub.com/beer.html & give us the 411. They got PBR on tap hmmm... a looks like a pretty fair list for up that way. 11/6/2009 9:46:40 PM

balzac 5:3 Thanks for all of the suggestions. Most of them ive already done.

Havent been to ramstein tho. Ive heard its a good place.

Dont forget about weyerbacher, its only about 20 mins from my house. always fun!

As far as salt gastropub goes, its the best beer selection in this neck of the woods, and the food is great to. We go there frequently. We were there last night as a matter of fact!

Long valley is where im headed tonight; ive been jonesing for a lazy jake porter.cheers!
